Most importantly, Redden has been waived by the Rangers. He is going to take some time deciding weather he is going to want to play in Hartford or not. Either way, Sather said the move was done to give the younger players a chance. This knocks off 6.5Mil off the Rangers cap bringing them under the Cap limit.
